Affiliate disclosure
Owner Field Guide is funded through affiliate links. When you click a link to a software vendor and later buy, the vendor may pay us a commission, at no extra cost to you. A link earns a commission only once the vendor has accepted us into its partner program.
What this means in practice
- A short disclosure appears near the top of every guide that links to vendors, above the first such link.
- Until a vendor accepts us into its program, links to it go to the vendor's normal website and earn nothing.
- Once a vendor's program is approved, its links are marked
rel="sponsored"in the page code, so search engines treat them as paid links. - Every vendor link passes through a redirect on this site that counts the click without storing personal data, as the privacy policy explains.
- We don't accept payment for placement or reviews.
Vendors in our guides
This table is generated from the same registry that powers every vendor link on the site, so it always shows the relationship each link actually has.
| Vendor | Relationship | Program |
|---|---|---|
| Capsule | No affiliate relationship yet | Not applicable yet |
| Freshsales | No affiliate relationship yet | Not applicable yet |
| HubSpot | No affiliate relationship yet | Not applicable yet |
| Less Annoying CRM | No affiliate relationship yet | Not applicable yet |
| Pipedrive | No affiliate relationship yet | Not applicable yet |
| Zoho CRM | No affiliate relationship yet | Not applicable yet |
A commission never changes a verdict
Whether a vendor pays a commission has no effect on what a guide says about it, where it appears in a comparison, or whether it is recommended. Prices, plan limits, and conclusions come from the vendor's published information, as described in the methodology.
Tools without a partner program are covered on the same terms as tools with one. If the honest answer is a tool that pays us nothing, a free plan, or no software at all, that is the answer you will read.
What we do not accept
We do not accept payment for placement, for reviews, or for a more favorable description. Vendors can send corrections, which are checked against their public pages. See the page for vendors.
